    How ranked works
    • 10 questions, 20s each — you race the ghost of another player's real run on the same questions.
    • More correct wins; tie → faster total time. Chess-style Elo: beat someone stronger, gain more.
    • Answers are graded on the server. Your run becomes a ghost others can face.
    • First 10 duels = placement (Hydrogen). Then: Iron → Copper → Silver → Gold → Platinum → Uranium → Osmium → Iridium.
    • Question difficulty scales with your rank — your rank IS your syllabus.
    • Quitting an unfinished duel counts as a loss when it expires (8 min).
    • Season end: your final tier becomes a permanent badge; next season you restart at your tier's floor and grind again.
