- Ranked now gives you 30 seconds per question. Correct answers earn 1,000 to 500 points as time passes; wrong answers, skips and timeouts earn zero. Highest total wins.
- 排位賽每題延長至 30 秒。答對可得 1,000 至 500 分，隨作答時間線性遞減；答錯、跳過或逾時得零分，總分較高者勝。
- Use Skip when you do not know an answer. In recorded-opponent matches, waiting for the server no longer adds to your answer time, and interrupted sends keep your locked answer and time for retry.
- 遇到不懂的題目可按「跳過」。影子對戰不再把等待伺服器的時間計入作答時間；傳送中斷後重試，也會保留已鎖定的答案及時間。

- The free S4 SUVAT Q7 challenge is now available in the portal. Submit typed or photographed working to unlock fully typeset solutions and an interactive stopping graph. Drag the graph, inspect points and explore how speed, reaction time and braking change the stopping distance.
- 免費中四 SUVAT 第七題挑戰現已上線。提交打字或手寫照片作答後，即可查看完整數學排版題解及互動停車圖像，拖動控制點、讀取坐標，探索速度、反應時間和剎車對停車距離的影響。
- Your submitted work stays saved; teacher marks and personal feedback appear separately after release.
- 已提交的作答會保留；老師發放成績後，分數及個人評語才會另行顯示。

- S.3 Summer 2 homework now gives you until the original deadline or seven days after your first code redemption, whichever is later. Your personal deadline appears in the portal and homework page.
- 中三暑期（二）功課的截止時間現為原定期限或首次兌換代碼後七日，以較後者為準。學生平台及功課頁均會顯示你的個人截止時間。
- Enter a separate class code in Resources for each Regular period. ALAM verification badges have been removed; your redeemed work, records and achievements stay in your account.
- 每個 Regular 期別請在「資源」輸入相應課堂代碼。ALAM 認證徽章已移除；已兌換的作業、紀錄及成就仍保留於你的帳戶。

- S4 Physics Summer 2 homework: use your class code to answer Questions 9–10, save a draft or upload handwritten working, and submit for teacher marking.

- The classroom quiz host now includes a ten-question S2–3 One-Day round on the first 20 elements: names, symbols and atomic numbers.

- One place for game records and achievements. Open Games → Records & Achievements in the student portal to see your Chemistry trophies, personal bests and game history. Chemistry Quiz now has three tabs: Elements, Compounds and Daily.

- Games and records together. Open Games → Game Records for saved Chemistry results, personal bests, leaderboard links, Ranked history and classroom replay records. Academic marks remain in Progress.

- A consistent interface. Shared navigation and English／繁體中文 controls connect the learning portal, Chemistry Quiz, Ranked Duels and leaderboards. Teachers now explicitly release marked homework results.

- 一個學生帳戶，連接學習同遊戲。首頁 Sign Up、學生作業、Chemistry Quiz 同 Ranked Mode 而家共用同一個登入。已有學生 Portal 帳戶，請繼續用原本登入資料。
- Import Play Data。登入學生 Portal 後，輸入舊遊戲帳戶嘅用戶名同 PIN，即可連接原有遊戲紀錄同 Ranked 成績。
- 重溫課堂，挑戰自己。已配對嘅課堂紀錄會顯示原有分數、名次同第一名紀錄。可以無限次重玩原題目組合，挑戰個人最佳成績；練習成績會另外保存。
- 學校名稱由你選擇是否公開；已修正選擇顯示學校時嘅註冊錯誤，並改善手機版登入同遊戲頁面。

- Pilot signup and school privacy. Students can find their school in English or Chinese and choose whether to show it. School selection no longer causes an internal signup error, and Edit profile now saves school and visibility changes in one form.

- The 2026 subject-selection seminar now has a full reference page. Parents and students can revisit the complete cohort, DSE, JUPAS, subject-result and university-weighting tables, follow the original sources, and download the seminar PowerPoint.

- ALAM Science now connects its Features and Courses. The learning-system page brings together classroom quiz, Ranked, teacher-marked paper work and the content pipeline; the course overview lists current S.2–3 Science, S.4 Physics and online intensive choices with direct DE detail links.
- Ranked is now labelled as a public beta. Any free public account can enter placement and Ranked play; the ladder and casual chemistry practice remain open to guests.
- The One-Day examples are now evergreen. S.2–3 uses the first-20-elements story with the element game, while S.4 demonstrates SUVAT kinematics.
- The public site now shares one lab-notebook identity. The home page is a clear front door for courses, free practice and student tools; course, member, update, guide and live-quiz pages now use the same responsive navigation and accessible controls.
- Sharing and archived events are clearer. Public pages now have descriptive browser titles, social previews and an ALAMSCIENCE favicon. Completed July One-Day pages are labelled as archives and direct visitors to current course information.

- Chemistry answer matching improved: Ranked Duels now accepts correct equivalent names such as gallium(III) hydrogensulphate, while elemental molecules use the familiar DSE names fluorine, chlorine, bromine, and iodine.

- Ranked now gives you three clear choices. Live Match waits for a real player online now, Ghost Match starts immediately against a recorded player run, and Practice gives you an unranked set with no Elo or season-record changes. An empty live queue never switches modes for you.

- Ranked results now teach after every duel. The full result screen appears immediately with your submitted answer, the correct answer, a chemistry summary, both players' accuracy and timing, and your Elo movement.
- Osmium and Iridium house opponents are now human-beatable. They remain strong and bounded, but no longer demand a flawless machine-speed run every game.
- Ranked now matches players live. After placement, two compatible players searching together enter the same room, race the same questions simultaneously, and see each other's progress in real time. If nobody joins within eight seconds, the search stops and lets you choose whether to try again or play a ghost.
- Recorded players stay in the fight too. The fallback prefers unseen player ghosts, can use a nearby-tier human run when the exact tier is empty, and allows a rematch on a later day before using a house bot.

- Ranked placement now learns your level. New players begin with an all-easy set and a gentle house opponent; 8–10 correct raises the next set one step, 6–7 holds, and 0–5 lowers it. All 10 placement duels use calibrated bots, and your final metal rank follows the level you actually demonstrated.
- The private Player Activity ledger now shows Ranked duels alongside classic quiz submissions, including opponent, result, accuracy, completion time, and Elo movement. Ranked records are read-only to protect ladder integrity.

- The private Admin Control Lab now has instant player search, access/form/ranked filters, current-season Elo ratings, metal badges, W–L–D records, peaks, ladder positions, and a mobile-friendly player management panel.
- Ranked now has a collapsible Metal Ladder — from Hydrogen placement through Iron, Copper, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Uranium, Osmium, and Iridium — with every badge presented as a premium ranked reward beside its Elo band.
- The Chemistry Quiz, Ranked Duels, and Leaderboard now share one lab-notebook design. Mobile play puts the question first, run tickets summarise every practice setup, and controls are larger and keyboard-friendly.
- 個 home page 全新設計 — 元素週期表式 Al 商標（A. Lam = 鋁，原子序 13）、實驗簿方格紙底、PHY／CHEM／BIO 顏色標籤，仲有 Ranked 金屬段位梯直接放上首頁。暑期課程資訊都更新埋。
- Ranked 段位有靚 badge 喇 — 每個 tier 都係佢隻金屬嘅真實質感：啞面 Iron、暖銅 Cu、亮銀 Ag、金 Au、冰 Pt、發光鈾玻璃 U、重感藍 Os、同埋 Iridium 嘅七彩虹光（佢個名就係嚟自彩虹女神 Iris）。Placement 期係一片未成形嘅 Hydrogen 玻璃。
- Ranked 題目而家同 casual quiz 一樣有顏色提示 — 橙 = 原子序、綠 = 名、紫 = symbol／化學式，一眼睇到條題問乜。
- Ranked 對戰而家由 server 逐題派發、計時同核對。中途離開再返嚟會接住原本進度；答案同對錯等成場完結先一次過顯示。

- New ⚔ Ranked Duels — 10 題限時對決，與另一位玩家的 Ghost 挑戰同一組題目，以速度和準確度決勝。Elo 排位由 Iron → Copper → Silver → Gold → Platinum → Uranium → Osmium → Iridium，首 10 場為 Hydrogen placement；答案由伺服器核對。現已進入公開 Beta 測試。開始排位 →
- Leaderboards now have an All-time / This season toggle — seasons run in school-year quarters (現時係 S0 Beta，9 月開 S1)，季尾排名鎖定，季初可以重新爬。

- The quiz now accepts answers typed on a Chinese keyboard — fullwidth characters like ＳＯ３ count the same as SO3, so a right answer is never marked wrong because of the input method.
